Scivac National Congress Arezzo

Albergo La Posta is located in via roma, 8 in Badia al Pino, a three-minute drive from the A1 exit of the Arezzo exit and an eight-minute drive from the Scivac National Congress.
From October 26th to 28th the SCIVAC National Congress will be held for the tenth consecutive year. This year's theme will be: Nephrology and Urology, all there is to know to treat our four-legged friends.
The abbreviation SCIVAC means: Italian Cultural Society Veterinary for Pets. Established in 1984, it is the largest veterinary scientific society in Italy. Very active in the territory, it organizes national conferences and seminars, practical courses, educational itineraries and online training events.
The speakers of the SCIVAC National Congress of Arezzo will be:
Walter Bertazzolo, Med Vet, Dipl. ECVCPDiploma of an industrial chemical expert at the "Villa Greppi" institute of Monticello B.za (LC) with a score of 60/60 in 1989. Graduated in 1995 at the University of Milan, Institute of General Pathology (Prof. C. Genchi) with a thesis on the molecular biology of Borrelia burgdorferi with a grade of 110/110 cum laude.He carried out a period of continuous training in Veterinary Clinical Pathology at the Department of Pathology of the University of Milan under the guide by Prof. Mario Caniatti, DVM, DECVP, Prof. Saverio Paltrinieri, DVM, DECVCP and Dr. Stefano Comazzi, DVM, DECVCP. Author of about forty publication in international indexed journals on topics related to clinical pathology and oncology. In October 2005 he was recognized as a defacto member of the European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology. He works in the laboratory of the Veterinary Hospital of the city of Pavia and the Tibaldi Veterinary Clinic in Milan, and is the scientific director of the LaVallonea laboratory. He is the president of SCIVAC for the 2016-2019 three-year period.
Giacomo Biagi, Med Vet, Dr Ric Graduated with honors in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Bologna in 1994, he worked as a Second Lieutenant in the Guardia di Finanza. In 2000 he obtained the title of research doctor in "Qualitative improvement of food for human beings". Since 2010 he has held the position of Associate Professor at the Department of Veterinary Medical Sciences of the University of Bologna for which he is currently responsible for the Service of Animal Production and Food Safety. He is the holder of several courses including the "Feeding of pets" in the course of the Degree in Veterinary Medicine. Author of publications on books, national and international journals and speaker at national and international conferences. Member of the FEDIAF Scientific Advisory Board. President of the Italian Society of Food and Animal Nutrition (SIANA). His main field of research is the nutrition of dogs and cats.
Francesco Dondi, Med Vet, PhD He graduated with honors in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Bologna in 2002. In 2006 he obtained the title of PhD in the field of Veterinary Clinical Pathology. Since 2006 he has been Researcher at the Department of Veterinary Medical Sciences of the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna. He works daily at the University Veterinary Hospital and deals mainly with Nephrology, Urology, Internal Medicine and Clinical Pathology of small animals. Since 2014 he has been in charge of the Clinical Pathology Laboratory at the same hospital. He is the author of publications in national and international journals and speaker at national and international conferences. His main fields of research are related to nephrology and to the histology of small animals as well as to veterinary clinical pathology.
Annalisa Liotta, Med Vet, Dipl. ECVDI (I) After graduating with honors in 2008, at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Messina, Dr. Annalisa Liotta carries out an internship at the "Castellarano" veterinary clinic, under the supervision of Dr. G. Spattini. After several work experience in the private sector, he moved to Belgium, where he worked as an assistant in the diagnostic department for images of the veterinary clinic of the University of Liège and in 2012, at the same facility, he undertook the Residency in Diagnostic Imaging by achieving in 2015 the European Diploma in Diagnostic Imaging. At the same time he carries out research on the interventional radiology of the lumbosacral column of the dog, obtaining the master's degree in veterinary sciences and the research doctorate in 2016. He currently collaborates with the Malpensa Veterinary Clinic, the Centro Tac Malpensa and works as a consultant for Idexx. She is the author of several works in national and international journals.
Other veterinarians and specialists will take part in the Scivac National Congress of Arezzo.
