Chianti Zone
Nestled between the provinces of Arezzo, Siena and Florence is leased theChianti Area known as the Chianti hills or mountains of Chianti. It 's a short mountain / hill about 20 kilometers confined with the Arno Valley and the Val di Chiana. The highest peak is measured at 893 meters , that of St Michael's Mount.
This is not a real region with political boundaries but a physical area known for its local wineries and buildings. Of international fame is the production of Chianti Wine DOCP and farmhouses, once home to farmers, today renovated and kept in great shape that married in the woods of oaks, cedars and Ilex along with the famous Cypresses give a unique impression in all zona.
Famose in the world are the unmistakable characteristics of churches and castles in Tuscany.
